COMMUNICATION INTERN

From September 2024 to December 2024, I had the opportunity to intern at the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce, where I played a key role in public-facing communications. I wrote newspaper articles, crafted emails, managed social media, and designed promotional materials, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.

One of my biggest achievements was increasing Instagram engagement and following by 15% in just three months, strengthening the Chamber’s online presence and community connections. I also managed and updated social media accounts to enhance visibility, working closely with local businesses and community leaders to support Chamber initiatives.

This experience taught me the importance of strategic communication, adaptability, and relationship-building in a professional setting. I gained valuable hands-on experience in audience engagement, content creation, and brand management, all while contributing to meaningful projects that connected the community with local businesses.
